*Update Nov. 1, 2016*

Feeling emotional and overwhelmed today! Thank you to all my friends and supporters! You guys not only accepted the #RoarkChallenge, you exceeded it with a large push on the last days! Final total with all donations and gift matching: $1625!!!! That will provide somewhere around 82 families with a Memory Keepsake box! 82 families with comfort after they have lost a child. 82 families you have directly touched with your generosity through Project Sweet Peas and Project Sweet Peas – Greater Lafayette. You have helped make this October, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, an unforgettable one with your kindness. ❤️❤️

The Roark Family has a challenge for you. James and I will match donations collected from now until the end of October (up to $500). That’s right. So if you donate $1, it becomes $2. But that’s not it. My work has a charitable giving program. For every $1 James and I personally donate through their program, they will match it. So, your $1 donation now becomes $3!!

Through our collective efforts we can donate $1500 to the Memory box program and provide families going through the hardest time in their life, the death of their child, with just a little bit of comfort through Project Sweet Peas’ Greater Lafayette Division – Avi’s Embrace.

So, share. Even if you can’t afford a $1, it doesn’t cost you anything to sh

About Project Sweet Peas

Project Sweet Peas is a 501(c)3 national non-profit organization coordinated by volunteers, who through personal experience have become passionate about providing support to families of premature or sick infants and to those who have been affected by pregnancy and infant loss. Project Sweet Peas acknowledges the importance of parental involvement in caregiving and decision-making in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and seeks to promote family-centered care (FCC) competencies in hospitals nationwide. Care packages, hospital events, peer-to-peer support, financial aid, educational materials, and other Project Sweet Peas services, support the cultural, spiritual, emotional, and financial needs of families as they endure life in the NICU. Project Sweet Peas makes a lifelong commitment to support families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. In a baby’s last moments, families are encouraged to make cherished memories with custom Project Sweet Peas keepsake items. Healing and remembrance continue to be fostered through programming such as peer-to-peer support, and our annual candlelight vigil. Through our services, we give from our hearts, to inspire families with the hope of tomorrow. www.projectsweetpeas.com
